As a previous elementary school teacher, I have lived with this passion for helping others for as long as I can remember. When I decided to embark on a new career path as a full time photographer, I knew that desire to help others wouldn’t just go away. Hosting this retreat and helping creatives from all over expand & grow means so much more to me than I could ever express
My goal is for you to leave feeling like I am more than just your host, I am here to be your teacher, go-to guide & mentor, and most importantly… friend.
2 Styled Shoots
To help build your portfolio, build confidence when shooting & try new creative ideas. One elopement styled shoot with a getting ready & detail portion. One couples styled shoot on the beach with surfboards & guitars.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Education & Headshots
I’ve spent years studying and learning all about not only just photography but business, client experience, social media, etc. I’ve tailored a course to cover countless topics with my tips and tricks for each to present on night one so you can use what you learn throughout the weekend. I’ll be available to guide and answer any questions throughout the entire weekend as well. I’ll also host a mini headshot session for each attendee to use as you wish!
Yoga & Empowerment
Enjoy an intentionally led yoga class by a local yoga teacher with over 4 business of her own. Kelsey will tailor the class to empower us in our lives & business ventures & we will be hosting an activity after to reflect & become the highest version of ourselves.
Community & Connection
Connect with people from all over the county, meet new friends & learn new ways of doing and thinking together. I have left every retreat with new knowledge, wisdom & friendships that have lasted the years, & I have curated this retreat to be nothing but the same for y’all.
