Lauren & Tyler’s Charlotte, North Carolina wedding

Dear Friends,

Lauren & Tyler truly felt like close friends from the moment we met at our first coffee shop planning date. There is something so special about creating a relationship with the Bride & Groom long before their big day & I wouldn’t ever want it any other way. What is even more special is continuing that friendship long after the “I Do’s” have been said. I was so lucky to get a call from Lauren months later to capture their pregnancy announcement :)

But back to June 13th, a day forecasted for rain on & off the entire day in the city of Charlotte, NC, closed out to be a day full of sunshine & not even a single drop. Starting off the morning with detail photographs of the invitations & Lauren’s shoes & jewelry, Van Landingham Estate had too many beautiful places to offer I couldn’t chose just one! Then to getting ready with both sides, including a very very special niece of Laurens who was the star of the show that morning!

Their wedding ceremony was straight out of a story book, with the trees canopying above & the weather the perfect warmth for the guests. Their first dance was perfectly executed, followed by the sweetest moment I have ever witnessed at a wedding. Lauren gave her father, daughter dance away to her sister, who didn’t get hers because her wedding was during the pandemic. (I am getting goosebumps just reliving the moment). & Don’t even get me started on their reception! When we first spoke about their day months before hand, they expressed how important their dance floor photos would be to them, & after seeing the party they through with the help of Seven Til Sunrise, it was clear why. Cheers to the Lucas’s & to capturing many more of their memories :)
